     BJ Jahi is a dynamic professional speaker and emerging Justice-Based Leadership expert. Simply known as “Jahi,” he shares his past experiences and masterful storytelling performances to illustrate the importance of Justice-Based programs.       Jahi is the founder of Dream Justice, a social justice sole proprietorship that highlights issues and concerns related to Justice-Based movements.  He has a MA and Ph.D. from Howard University in Political Science. His specialization is Social Justice and Urban Public-Policy. Jahi can help your organization create and sustain a blueprint for organizational development because of his educational background and combined twelve years of professional experience working for notable employers such as NASA and The Greater Washington Urban League.  His unique approach to developing cutting-edge strategies for social inclusion help businesses take advantage of their resources.

     Always ready to serve, Jahi was a past president of the Shepherd Park Citizens Association, a volunteer community service organization renowned for helping its residents with neighborhood concerns. In this role, Jahi led orange hat patrols and worked with law enforcement to ensure safety and better living experiences for all of its residents. This experience afforded Jahi opportunities to work with diverse ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds to enhance community development.

     Jahi was born in New York City and raised in the Tremont section of the West Bronx during the seventies and eighties. His unique experiences in the Bronx give Jahi an informed perspective about urban decay and Justice-Based Leadership. Raised by a single mom and his Jamaican grandparents, he is the proud father of a teenage son. 

     Moreover, Jahi has overcome childhood and adult adversity to realize his dream of becoming one of the pre-eminent speakers in the world. His unique assessment of social justice provides a blueprint for understanding the importance of fairness in today’s society. Within this context, Jahi works daily to research current events that explain why justice-based strategies improve organizational culture. 

     Jahi hopes to lead the way by sharing his vision for building stronger communities.
